Emma & Cole
April 2025
Emma and Cole wed in the desert, at the iconic Parker Palm Springs hotel, which is known for its retro aesthetic and rich history in 1950's-80's Hollywood. Emma and Cole hired their favorite 70s funk-soul-inspired band to play at their wedding, which further inspired a groovy vibe. It was clear that the invitation design needed to blend vibrant retro flair with springtime desert colors!
A custom retro floral print lined the envelopes and invitation backs, while yellow stripes from the Parker’s iconic umbrellas brightened the RSVP and details cards. California poppies, the couple’s chosen motif, bloomed throughout the suite.
Pink envelopes with bold orange calligraphy made a statement in guests' mailboxes.
Honey, their beloved golden retriever, was featured on the RSVP card chasing her favorite ball - a nod to her starring role in the proposal, when she bounded across the lawn with the engagement ring tied to her collar
The celebration carried their story all the way through the weekend. Dinner Menus and Cocktail Menus featured custom die-cut wavy edges in vibrant pinks, yellows, and oranges. Poppy motifs were carried on throughout the day-of touchpoints.
Cole once surprised Emma with a bouquet with radishes mixed in— a nod to their early inside joke. We carried that playful memory into the wedding, painting the radish bouquet to be printed onto cocktail napkins and matchboxes.
