Have you ever secretly wondered if you'll end up next to a cute stranger on a flight and fall in love like in the movies?

Megan and Freddie’s love story began high above the clouds... quite literally! A chance conversation as airplane seat mates turned into a long-distance romance spanning London and California. Three years later, they’re bringing their story to Austin, Texas, to celebrate with family and friends. With “Love is in the Air” as their wedding-day motto, it was only fitting that their invitations carried the same playful spirit.

The Love Story

We wanted their suite to feel joyful, vibrant, and unmistakably them. A custom repeat pattern set the tone from the first impression — a pattern of wedding florals dotted with icons from their story: an airplane, cowboy boot, telephone booth, cowboy hat, and disco ball. Inside, a bespoke MF monogram with a western twist tied the suite together.

The Design

Every piece of the suite told part of their journey:

Envelope liners featured whimsical “Love is in the Air” skywriting

The invitation itself was framed by a floral wreath echoing their vibrant summer blooms, with a script font that felt playful and romantic.

The RSVP card is a die-cut illustration of a London taxi with a surfboard strapped to the roof, a wink to Freddie’s London roots and Megan’s love of surfing in LA.

The jacket interior revealed the ceremony site: a majestic oak tree, ready to host their vows.
